Applying for Admission to the ENHANCE Program:

  1. We strongly encourage students interested in the ENHANCE Program to attend the college’s Open House dates on the The ENHANCE Program staff will be in attendance at the Open Houses so that students/family members can ask questions and find out more information about the program.
  2. Interested students are strongly advised to apply by the ENHANCE Priority Admissions Deadline of December 15th. We may interview you before your Âé¶¹´«Ã½ acceptance, however your ENHANCE acceptance is contingent upon your acceptance to Âé¶¹´«Ã½.
  3. Students interested in applying to the ENHANCE Program must provide:
    1. Completed ENHANCE Program application form.
    2. Letter of Acceptance to Âé¶¹´«Ã½ if accepted (see # 2 above)
    3. Receipt of successful submission of Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Application.
    4. Complete IEP including FULL Psychological evaluation.  Evaluation must state diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder and be dated within 36 months of the application. Psychological assessment/evaluation must be completed by a professional who has comprehensive training and direct experience in the differential diagnosis such as a psychologist, neurologist, or psychiatrist. The professional completing the evaluation is not a family member of the student or someone who has a personal or business relationship with the student.
    5. List of names and accurate contact information of two references who can attest to college readiness. These must be current mental health therapists, treating psychiatrists, case managers, or special education teachers.
  4. When application materials have been received and reviewed, Suzanne Calgi, Assistant Director of the ENHANCE Program will arrange for an in-person interview with the student/family.

Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Admissions: The general requirements for First Year applicants to Âé¶¹´«Ã½ can be found on the Admissions webpage, including application deadlines. If you have any questions about the Ramapo Admissions process, please contact the Admissions office at 201-684-7300.

Please note: 

Admission to Âé¶¹´«Ã½ of New Jersey does not guarantee acceptance into the ENHANCE Program.

Applications to the ENHANCE Program are not considered complete until all steps (A-E) are fulfilled.
