About Â鶹´«Ã½ Dual Enrollment
If you are a high school student looking for the Dual Enrollment Application, please contact Kelly Doran, Assistant Director of Admissions and Dual Enrollment, at kdoran@ramapo.edu.
Â鶹´«Ã½ Dual Enrollment is a concurrent enrollment program at Â鶹´«Ã½ that allows high school students in New Jersey to get a head start on their college careers. Students can earn credits from Â鶹´«Ã½ through approved courses taken in their high schools. Subjects currently include:

There are currently 30+ high schools offering Â鶹´«Ã½ Dual Enrollment courses and 500+ high school students participate each year. The college credits earned through Â鶹´«Ã½ Dual Enrollment are transferable to colleges and universities throughout the United States.
Transferring Credits to Other Colleges and Universities
- Can you guarantee that the course will transfer to another college/university?
There is no assurance that these credits will transfer to another college/university or satisfy degree requirements at said college/university. Each institution has different transfer credit policies and it is the responsibility of the Dual Enrollment Student to understand the policies of the college/university the student wishes to attend. - Will I automatically be accepted to Â鶹´«Ã½ if I take Dual Enrollment courses?
Permission to register as a Dual Enrollment Student in no way suggests or implies that you will be admitted as a matriculated student to Â鶹´«Ã½ either now or in the future. - If I am admitted and decide to attend Â鶹´«Ã½, will my Dual Enrollment courses automatically be accepted?
Credits earned through Â鶹´«Ã½â€™s Dual Enrollment Program are automatically accepted at Ramapo and will be applied to the student’s degree audit upon being successfully admitted and enrolled in the College as a matriculated student in the future.
Transcript Request
Do not order a transcript to be sent to the college or university of your choice until after the student has graduated. You may order an unofficial transcript for your own records before graduation, but it will not transfer the credits.
1.Ìý*Highly Recommended*Ìý·¡±ô±ð³¦³Ù°ù´Ç²Ô¾±³¦Ìý°Õ°ù²¹²Ô²õ³¦°ù¾±±è³Ù²õ:Ìý
Â鶹´«Ã½ has partnered with the National Student Clearinghouse to assist with the processing of °¿´Ú´Ú¾±³¦¾±²¹±ôÌýTranscript requests. This partnership allows us to offer electronic transcript processing. The National Student Clearinghouse will notify you at each step in the process.
- °¿´Ú´Ú¾±³¦¾±²¹±ôÌýTranscript Fee: $4.90 per transcript request (nonrefundable-fee).
- Electronic Transcripts Processing: Your college/university will have 30 days to download the °¿´Ú´Ú¾±³¦¾±²¹±ôÌýTranscript email link.
- Processing Time: Orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days.
- Editing Addresses: Once an order has been placed, you will not be allowed to change the recipient’s email address. You must place a new order with the correct address.
- Cancelling Order: Due to our automated ordering process, once an order is received it cannot be cancelled.
2. Paper Copy of Transcript:Ìý°¿´Ú´Ú¾±³¦¾±²¹±ôÌýTranscript Request Form
To request an official paper copy of your transcript, the student must fill out an °¿´Ú´Ú¾±³¦¾±²¹±ôÌýTranscript Request Form and send it to transcript@ramapo.edu.
- °¿´Ú´Ú¾±³¦¾±²¹±ôÌýTranscript Fee: There is no charge for an official paper copy of your transcript.
- Processing Time: °¿´Ú´Ú¾±³¦¾±²¹±ôÌýtranscripts are processed in 3-5 business days. Additional time may be needed during peak periods such as the start/end of a semester and during graduation.
- Note: Official paper copies of your transcript cannot be emailed or faxed. They can be mailed to your college/university or picked up in person. If picking up your official paper copy of your transcript in person, a photo ID must be presented.
