The philosophy of Â鶹´«Ã½â€™s Professional Development and Training plan, in full support of the College’s Mission, Vision, and Values Statement, is committed to enhance the current and future organizational effectiveness of Â鶹´«Ã½ by increasing employees’ abilities to maximize performance. We are committed to supporting the continued growth and development of Ramapo’s most valuable resource, its people.

The LDP carries out this philosophy by:Cultivating Ramapo’s workforce and enhancing Ramapo’s organizational culture through professional development programs;

• Promoting diversity and inclusion to protect individuals from discrimination and harassment;
• Assisting individuals in developing their interpersonal and leadership skills;
• Responding to conflict issues within Ramapo’s work units to facilitate performance coaching, foster team unity and productivity;
• Improving the quality of work life and job satisfaction for employees;
• Educating employees so they can best utilize the benefits, services, policies, and procedures of the College.
