Join us for the听听on听Friday, September 26鈥攁 fully virtual, FREE event designed to foster meaningful conversations and share practical strategies for excellence in teaching.

听provides the highest quality personal and professional development opportunities to part-time and associate faculty members from diverse institutions of higher education around the world through networking, guest speakers, and expert panel discussions.

As such, FALCON is open to any non-tenured faculty teaching in higher education both nationally and internationally. Beginning in 2019, FACET has collaborated with the AAC&U’s initiative听听to present the conference.

This year鈥檚 theme, 鈥Teaching with Purpose: Supporting Learners in a Changing World,鈥 continues our tradition of bringing educators together for growth and reflection.

The听听is now available!听This year鈥檚 program features a keynote address,听Purposeful Teaching in an Uncertain Age, by听Laura Cruz, Research Professor at Penn State鈥檚 Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence. Dr. Cruz will explore how educators and students can cultivate a shared sense of purpose. Drawing on psychological and philosophical models of futures-thinking, she鈥檒l offer strategies that connect our present teaching with the possibilities of tomorrow.
