Admission to the Ramapo EOF Program is based on several factors including meeting the financial eligibility requirements as indicated by the Office of the Secretary of Higher Education of New Jersey as well as meeting the academic requirements for admission to Â鶹´«Ã½ through the EOF Program. Each application is reviewed individually and all information submitted is kept confidential.<\/p>\n
To apply to the Ramapo EOF Program, applicants must select “Yes” to applying for EOF on the\u00a0application for admissions<\/a>\u00a0and complete the EOF-specific section of the application.<\/p>\n All students applying to the New Jersey EOF Program need to meet the following program requirements :<\/p>\n Â鶹´«Ã½ Specific Requirements<\/strong> All EOF first year students enrolling at Â鶹´«Ã½ must<\/strong> attend the mandatory five-week EOF Pre-First Year Summer Studies Program that is a bridge to academic and social success. Successful completion of the Summer Program is necessary to continue enrollment at Â鶹´«Ã½ and receive EOF funding.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n First year applicants must meet academic requirements below to be considered for admission to Ramapo’s EOF Program. Final admission to the EOF Program at Â鶹´«Ã½ is based on meeting program, academic and financial requirements for admissions.<\/p>\n First Year Academic Requirements (except pre-medical programs)<\/strong><\/p>\n First Year Academic Requirements (Nursing and all pre-medical programs)<\/strong><\/p>\n Standardized Test Policy Students looking to pursue pre-medical programs and choosing not to submit SAT or ACT test scores can apply to our Biology\/Pre-Medical Track that is a test-optional program and allows students to apply to the medical school of their choice.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n First Year applicants must submit an application for admission to Â鶹´«Ã½ along with required credentials listed below by the appropriate application deadline. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed. Because space is limited in our EOF Program, applicants are encouraged to apply and submit all required documentation prior to their application deadline.<\/p>\n First Year EOF Application Requirements EOF applicants are required to submit their completed FAFSA (or NJ Alternative Financial Aid Application for qualified NJ undocumented students), listing Â鶹´«Ã½ on the application to determine financial eligibility for the EOF Program. Students will also need to activate their NJFAMS account on the NJ Higher Education Student Assistance Authority (NJ HESAA) website.<\/p>\n Additional documents may be required based on an individual applicant’s status. Applicants are encouraged to submit all required documentation prior to their application deadline.<\/p>\n Credentials are to be submitted to the Office of Admissions by your current institution, either electronically, by email (admissions@ramapo.edu) or by mail.<\/p>\n *\u00a0 Transfer Applicants who are not enrolled in EOF at current institution, will need to<\/em> EOF transfer applicants must submit an EOF Transfer Verification Form (to be completed by the EOF Office at their current institution) to verify current enrollment in the EOF Program and be admitted to EOF at Â鶹´«Ã½. Transfer applicants who do not submit this document will not be considered for the Ramapo EOF Program.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n Financial eligibility requirements for EOF eligibility is determined by the NJ<\/a> Office of the Secretary of Higher Education<\/a> and are the same for all EOF Programs in New Jersey.<\/p>\n Financial eligibility for first year and transfer applicants<\/strong>\u00a0is determined by the information provided on the applicant’s Free Application for Federal Student Aid<\/a> (FAFSA) or NJ Alternative Financial Aid Application<\/a> as well as meeting the Income Eligibility Scale for the NJ EOF Program.<\/p>\n EOF Income Eligibility Scale for the NJ EOF Program Add $10,760 in income and $2,152 in assets for each additional family member.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n EOF Scholars are eligible to receive supplemental state aid in the form of the NJ EOF State Grant. This supplemental award is currently a grant of up to $1,950 per year at Â鶹´«Ã½. An EOF Scholar’s finance plan typically consists of federal grants, state grants including the EOF State Grant, and optional federal student loans. Other than loans, all other funds do not need to be paid back. Maximum awards available to EOF Scholars is listed below.<\/p>\n EOF First Year Financial Package at Â鶹´«Ã½ (for Qualified First Year EOF Students )<\/strong><\/p>\n The EOF First Year EOF students who successfully complete the EOF Pre-First Year Summer Studies Program with a cumulative grade point average of 2.3 or greater are awarded an institutional grant of up to $5,000, provided they meet the eligibility requirements. They also receive a $1,400 book scholarship for the first year.<\/p>\n Additional Scholarships for Continuing EOF Students<\/strong><\/p>\n Each year the Â鶹´«Ã½ Foundation provides close to 400 scholarships that are funded by donations from private donors, businesses, and charitable foundations. These scholarships fall into two categories:<\/p>\n

\nApplicants must activate their Ramapo Application Portal and assure that all required documents listed on their online checklist are submitted to be reviewed for admission to Â鶹´«Ã½ and its EOF Program. Login information and activation link is included in the confirmation email from the Ramapo Admissions Office that is sent when a student’s application for admissions is submitted to Â鶹´«Ã½.<\/p>\n\n

\n<\/strong>Â鶹´«Ã½ is test-optional for all undergraduate majors and our 4+1 Programs. Those applicants choosing to apply for our <\/span>Articulation Programs<\/span><\/a> (Biology\/LECOM Dental Medicine, Biology\/SUNY Optometry, Biology\/LECOM Osteopathic Medical College and Biology\/LECOM Pharmacy) are required to submit either SAT or ACT test scores.

Transcript and recommendations must be submitted your current high school in order to be verified as official documents. \nTransfer applicants must submit official college transcripts from all colleges attended in order to all credits to Â鶹´«Ã½. Applicants must have a C or higher in the course in order to transfer the credits to Â鶹´«Ã½. Transfer applicants can transfer a maximum of 65 credits from an accredited community college and a maximum of 96 credits from an accredited four-year school.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n
