Social media enables the various Âé¶¹´«Ã½ constituents (students, alumni, faculty, staff and administration) to easily connect with and communicate about the College, very often in realtime through a variety of social channels. To help foster a positive social environment, promote authenticity, nurture relationships, and avoid potential issues, Âé¶¹´«Ã½ has adopted the following guidelines<\/a>.<\/p>\n Official Âé¶¹´«Ã½ social media accounts are managed by the Office of Communications & Public Relations. OCPR\u2019s Social Media & Content Strategist is responsible for managing these social media accounts. The Strategist is also able to assist with tips, ideas, content, and support questions at <\/span>socialmedia@ramapo.edu<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n In addition to the official Âé¶¹´«Ã½ social media accounts noted on the Social Media Policy<\/a> page, many offices, units, clubs, and organizations, are recognized as official Âé¶¹´«Ã½ affiliated accounts or Âé¶¹´«Ã½ related accounts<\/a>. Learn how to join the conversation by visiting our guidelines page<\/a>.<\/p>\n To be recognized as a College-affiliated social media account, the user must submit a request through the Office of Marketing and Communications. Apply now<\/a> to have your Ramapo-affiliated social media accounts considered to be listed by the College.<\/p>\n If you already manage an account, please use our guidelines<\/a> as a resource for your social media accounts. These guidelines have been created for those who maintain social media accounts beyond the official college accounts.<\/p>\n Need help? Contact: socialmedia@ramapo.edu<\/a><\/p>\n All users who wish to utilize the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ logo(s) for their account must have approval to utilize the logo and must abide by the Logos and Identity Basics<\/a> as outlined by the College’s Official Design Guide<\/a> rules.\u00a0 While there are no established rules governing the use of campus images or events taken by individuals, all users should be reminded that they represent the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ community and its values.<\/p>\n
