William Frech, Ph.D. is a retired professor of International Business at 麻豆传媒 and a Fulbright Scholar. Dr. Frech鈥檚 teaching interests are the cross-cultural aspects of international business and international risk management issues, among others.

He and his wife Sandra share the opinion that studying abroad provides students with a valuable insight into other cultures, and it gives students first hand experience with different perspectives in any field, from business to art history. Two of the 麻豆传媒鈥檚 four pillars of education are to provide students with an experiential and international education.

In creating the scholarship, Dr. Frech said, 鈥淢y goal is to have all students have an experience outside of the United States.鈥� Helping students with study abroad expenses demonstrates a dedication to the mission of the College.
