{"id":150,"date":"2015-10-07T16:14:15","date_gmt":"2015-10-07T20:14:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/photolab\/?page_id=150"},"modified":"2023-01-24T11:32:25","modified_gmt":"2023-01-24T16:32:25","slug":"lightingstudio","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/photolab\/lightingstudio\/","title":{"rendered":"Lighting Studio"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Welcome to the Lighting Studio<\/h3>\n<p>Here in the Lighting Studio our Contemporary Arts students learn to create powerful portraiture and still-life with the use of professional LED and strobe lighting equipment.<\/p>\n<p>Our state-of-the-art equipment includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hensel Integra 500 Monolights<\/li>\n<li>Portable GVM 800D-RGB LED Lights<\/li>\n<li>GVM P80S LED Lights<\/li>\n<li>Light modifiers including reflectors, umbrellas, softboxes, honeycomb grids, snoots<\/li>\n<li>Cyclorama, seamless backdrops, greenscreen<\/li>\n<li>Copy stand<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Restricted Use<\/h3>\n<p>Use of the Lighting Studio is restricted to students in the following courses: Arts 206 Black &amp; White Photography, Arts 207 Digital Photography, Comm 263 Photography for Designers, Arts 328 Portrait Photography, and other upper level photo classes including: Arts 315, 318, 324, and 406.\u00a0 Other CA courses may be approved on a case-by-case basis, as well as Visual Arts majors and students who previously received training on our studio equipment.<\/p>\n<h3>Reservations<\/h3>\n<p>Students may schedule their own appointments in 1-hour blocks on this <a href=\"https:\/\/calendar.app.google\/33DPiufbdVyj9QRB6\">Google Appointment Schedule <\/a><\/p>\n<p>Appointments may last up to 3 hours.\u00a0 Students may have two standing reservations at a time unless otherwise specified.<\/p>\n<p>Appointments can also be scheduled by email: <a href=\"mailto:photolab@ramapo.edu\">photolab@ramapo.edu<\/a>, phone: (201) 684-7235 or with a visit to the Photography Lab (BC 135) during open lab hours.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome to the Lighting Studio Here in the Lighting Studio our Contemporary Arts students learn to create powerful portraiture and still-life with the use of professional LED and strobe lighting equipment.
