Mahwah, NJ– Âé¶¹´«Ã½ of New Jersey’s Cheickna Traore ’23 not only completed his Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Management this month; he also completed his outstanding career as a Roadrunner this past weekend at the 2023 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, where he was crowned national champion in the 200m, setting a new NCAA D3 record.
The seven-time All-American sat down with to talk about his Âé¶¹´«Ã½ track career, the inspiration he found in his mother, his hope to represent the Ivory Coast in the 2024 Summer Olympics, and how Âé¶¹´«Ã½ and Division III athletics provided the space for him to grow as an athlete with the mentorship of supportive coaches and a tight-knit RCNJ community.
