“\u00a1Hola a todos! I\u2019m an alumna of the 2009 Ramapo graduating class. I hold a degree in\u00a0Spanish Language Studies and a minor in Latin American Studies. I studied abroad in\u00a0Spain, and after graduation I decided to return to teach English to Spanish-speaking pre-elementary, elementary, and adult students. After mastering my Spanish skills in Spain\u00a0and gaining some teaching experience, I decided to pursue a career in\u00a0international education.”<\/span><\/p>\n

“Upon my return, I began volunteering in the Study Abroad\u00a0Office at a local community college. It was there that I learned how to conduct info sessions,\u00a0advise students\u00a0seeking study abroad opportunities, market programs offered, and\u00a0capitalize on my overall knowledge of study abroad and its purpose.”<\/span><\/p>\n

“Soon after, I was\u00a0offered a position in Baltimore, Maryland with a leading student exchange organization. I\u00a0have been there for 2 years, and it has afforded me the opportunity to work with exchange\u00a0students, promote programs, and establish relationships with many educators. Spanish\u00a0and my experiences studying abroad while studying at Â鶹´«Ã½ lead me to many\u00a0opportunities that have set me on a path that I never imagined! I use my Spanish often to\u00a0tutor high school students as well as to keep connected with all of my amigos in Spain.”<\/span><\/p>\n
