The Office of Grants and Sponsored Programs provides the Â鶹´«Ã½ community with a number of resources to find and secure external sponsorship for your research, scholarship, and programmatic needs.<\/p>\n<h4>Public and Private Sector Funding<\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Public sector funding includes federal, state, and county grant-making. These agencies accept investigator-initiated <strong>unsolicited proposals,<\/strong> as well as proposals <strong>solicited<\/strong> through:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Requests For Proposal (RFP)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) and Notice of grant Opportunity (NGO)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Program Announcement (PA)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Broad Agency Announcement (BAA)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Notice Inviting Applications (NIA)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Letters of Inquiry (LOI)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dear Colleague Letters (DCL)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">At Â鶹´«Ã½, all public sector funding will generally be received through the College unless the funder requires 5013(c) status.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Private sector funding includes foundations, trusts, and corporate grant-making.\u00a0 At Â鶹´«Ã½, all private sector funding will be managed and received through the<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/foundation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Â鶹´«Ã½ Foundation<\/a><\/strong>. To ensure that the private funder grants awards or gifts to colleges and universities, it is best to check their recent IRS Form 990, which is<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/projects.propublica.org\/nonprofits\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">publicly available<\/a> <\/strong>for non-profits.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"collapsableContent\" tabindex=\"0\"><div class=\"collapsableTitle\"><span class=\"fa-stack\"><i class=\"fa fa-circle fa-stack-2x\"><\/i><i class=\"fa fa-chevron-down fa-stack-1x fa-inverse\"><\/i><i class=\"fa fa-chevron-up fa-stack-1x fa-inverse\"><\/i><\/span>Focused Funding Opportunity List<\/div><div class=\"c_content\">\n<p>This <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/1AA9JxFJmkiowGFkvwiDMDKf759vbJU16\/edit?usp=drive_link&amp;ouid=102180809723319632322&amp;rtpof=true&amp;sd=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">spreadsheet<\/a> <\/strong>will be updated weekly by the Office of Grants and Sponsored Programs.
