{"id":9656,"date":"2023-08-03T16:11:49","date_gmt":"2023-08-03T20:11:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/catalog-2023-2024\/?page_id=9656"},"modified":"2023-08-03T16:11:49","modified_gmt":"2023-08-03T20:11:49","slug":"college-courses-for-high-school-students","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/catalog-2023-2024\/college-courses-for-high-school-students\/","title":{"rendered":"College Courses for High School Students"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>College Courses for High School Students<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There are three ways for high school students to enroll in Â鶹´«Ã½ undergraduate courses.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Eligible students from high schools shall be permitted to take undergraduate College courses for credit.\u00a0 Currently enrolled high school students who wish to attend Â鶹´«Ã½ must complete the Student Information Form and submit it to the Office of Admissions.\u00a0 Once the form is submitted, students will follow the admissions process and procedures for non-matriculated students.<\/li>\n<li>Â鶹´«Ã½ has established dual enrollment partnerships with high schools that will allow qualified high school students to enroll in courses\u00a0<em>at Â鶹´«Ã½<\/em>\u00a0that will satisfy their high school\u2019s curricular graduation requirements while also earning college credit.\u00a0 All academic-related matters must be approved by the Dean of the respective school where the course is housed before the partnerships are approved.<\/li>\n<li>Â鶹´«Ã½ has established dual enrollment partnerships with high schools that will allow qualified high school students to enroll in College-equivalent courses delivered\u00a0<em>at their high school<\/em>\u00a0by high school instructors while also earning college credit.\u00a0 There are various parameters of the agreement to ensure that all coursework and credits delivered at the high school match Â鶹´«Ã½\u2019s learning outcomes, academic standards, and follow agreed-upon protocol (e.g., approval of instructors, tuition model).\u00a0 All academic-related matters must be approved by the Dean of the respective school where the course is housed before the partnerships are approved.\u00a0 High school students will apply to the Â鶹´«Ã½ Dual Enrollment Program by using the Non-Degree and Visiting Student application.\u00a0 In order to participate, students must be from high schools who have a certified agreement and partnership with Â鶹´«Ã½.\u00a0 All non-matriculated policies and procedures apply to these students.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>College Courses for High School Students There are three ways for high school students to enroll in Â鶹´«Ã½ undergraduate courses.
