The Music Program at Âé¶¹´«Ã½, with its distinctly contemporary orientation, emphasizes creativity and experiential learning in an interdisciplinary and multicultural framework. The program focuses on many forms of contemporary music and digital-music technologies, while cultivating an appreciation for American music, Western art music, and musical traditions from around the world. The major begins with foundational studies in three areas: musicianship, music history and culture, and musical technologies and media. Students select one of four concentrations \u2013 Music Studies, Music Performance, Music Production<\/strong>, or Music Industry<\/strong> \u2013 all of which offer opportunities for internships, independent projects, and performance. These flexible and interconnected concentrations allow students to develop their interests, talents, and skills in individual ways.<\/p>\n Students completing this program will receive a B.A. degree. A minor in Music is available.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
