Being a graduate of Âé¶¹´«Ã½ comes with benefits. One of the best is the opportunity to audit up to three courses per year tuition free. You can take one in the fall, one in the spring and one during the summer session. The process is likely a little different from what you remember so please follow the steps below and check out the FAQs at the bottom of the page.<\/p>\n Email alumni@ramapo.edu<\/a> with any questions.<\/p>\n Summer 2026 registration will be held remotely. Summer I registration will take place May 27th and Summer II will take place July 7th. Please note that only one course is able to be audited throughout the entirety of the summer semester.<\/p>\n We kindly ask that you submit your completed form in either format no later than 3 business days prior to the registration date. This will allow us time to process it and get it ready for your registration. Please note that you are only able to take one course throughout the entirety of the semester.<\/p>\n Please be advised that your bill may not instantly reflect your alumni tuition waiver.\u00a0 Please review it again a few days after receiving your confirmation email. Please note that auditors are responsible for course fees.<\/b><\/p>\n As indicated above our courses may be delivered in various modes.<\/span><\/p>\n There are\u00a0available courses<\/strong> each semester for alumni of Ramapo to audit.\u00a0 Click the \u201cCourse Availability\u201d button below to get started and see what courses are available in real time. Please note that graduate-level courses, adult degree courses (course number ending in the -60’s) and courses with field work (such as nursing, social work, etc.) are not available for course audit. Follow the bullets below to navigate the system.<\/p>\n Course Availability<\/a><\/p>\n You may also view the available courses in an Excel spreadsheet format. Once available, the link will be below to view the sheet. The sheet will be VERY large and it may be easier to search for classes using the link above. Please note: Column I will show you the maximum number of seats in the class.\u00a0 Column J will show you the number of seats taken as of the date of the sheet.\u00a0 Column K will show the space availability as of the date this sheet is posted (not yet posted for Summer 2026).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n There is a course description for every class offered.<\/p>\n We kindly ask that you submit your completed form in either format no\u00a0later than 3 business days prior to registration. This will allow us time to process it and get it ready for your registration.\u00a0 After receiving and processing your forms, we will be ready to register you.<\/b><\/p>\n For remote registration, you will receive an email from the Office of the Registrar to confirm what class you\u2019ve been placed into. Please read your confirmation message when you receive it and follow the steps to activate your Ramapo email account (if you have not already done so in a prior semester). You will also receive access to your course on\u00a0Canvas<\/a>\u00a0a few hours after registration.<\/p>\n After registration occurs, sign the new Financial Responsibility Agreement on Web Self Service<\/a>.\u00a0Click\u00a0here<\/a> for pdf instructions on how to access the Agreement in Web Self Service. Please note that although this program is tuition-free, auditors are still responsible for their books, course materials and any associated course fees.<\/p>\n It is highly recommended that you email the instructor of the course you plan to register for before the beginning of the semester and introduce yourself as an audit student.\u00a0 You may wish to remind them that registration for alumni is after the official start of the semester but that you plan to join the class as soon as possible.\u00a0 You may also ask the instructor to share their expectations for audit students that join their class.<\/span><\/p>\n Please make sure your emergency contact information is up to date in Web Self Service.
